Waiting For Christmas

Hello!

The Winter came to stay immediatelly. Here has fallen snow commendably and it has been many days frost even below -20°C. We have pulled the sledge already few times too. On the end of November I had date with pretty Cindy in Pajala in Sweden.

Nalle had date in Sweden and the puppies may born on January to Pajala. Because of that both "boys" got eye examination on 8.11. with healthy papers. Cindy has fine temperament and she has typical body structure of Alaskan Malamute. She got my heart too. :-)

Bike Training

Hello to Everyone!

We visited in Kangasniemi and Heinola last weekend. We met also acquaintance girls: Wilma the Silky Terrier, Finnish Lapphund Halla and Maremmano Abruzezze Asta. Otso tried hard impress them as he has a habit. Also I greeted them when it was possible. You see Otso was freely in a pen and I was chained outside of it. When Asta or Halla was out they were in a pen next of where Otso was. When our masters were at the place I was in the same pen with Otso.

Yesterday our female master trained us with her bike after long time. As we have a habit I was trained at first. There was lot of new messages to read and sign on the roadside. We saw few hunters too. They were hunting rabbits and while we were chatting ran a rabbit a hound behind near of us. I would to go willingly with them. Otso told that he didn't heard or saw that hound until when returning. The same hunters he had even seen when going and returning.

This biking was a positive surprise and experience. Both dogs had good condition and mood because they trotted lightly all 10 kilometers. Both were obedient and obeyed commands fine.

With Nalle the start was very rapid and the first 100 meters he galloped and then to trot without any stops to check is Nätti there. When he saw the hound he was a little unwilling to continue but moved still. At the returning place after five kilometers he improved to go faster to return way.

Otso had passion to go but was a pit more careful at start than Nalle. Otso speed up indeed after five meters. When returning we stopped to discuss an another hunter and their hound started bark again. Otso was listening it but didn't get at to the forest. When we left the start was now more speedy.

My knee which I injured at work about a month ago didn't get sore. I did wear surely a knee support before I left. It is good to continue from this. I hope the slippery road conditions doesn't come yet!

Winter Is Coming

It was few frosty nights here on last week. On Thursday there was a little snow on the ground too but till Friday morning it had smelted off. On Saturday 9th of October we made a forest trip. Our female master even shot photos:

On the day before yesterday, on Saturday Otso trained with our male master by bike. I made with our male master a forest trip on yesterday, on Sunday. Our other master was a little pit tired because she had a work weekend.

One week ago the neighbour's Nätti's heat ended and our "boys" become silent. If only Otso begin to eat again... The bones and meats of elg and all goodies tastes to him, but vegetable mashes with fish soup he lets on the bowl. Nalle would eat additionally those Otso's servings after his owns.

Rainy Thursday

Hello to everyone!

This morning it was nice cloudy weather. We spent time with Nalle in our own outdoor pens. At midday our female master came to clean our pens and then the rain started softly. After cleanin we were moved to the back yard and master cleaned the yard too. Then the rain was becoming heavier. After that cleaning she tried to encourage us to play. Well I froliced a little to please her. Nalle either only watched us but joined, but it isn't fun to be in the rain because there becomes wet. Then our master went in their house but didn't let us to go. Fortunately we can lay on terrace the shelter of rain.

We have one wish with Nalle to have date with miss Nätti (Pretty in English) of neighbor. She is the kind of bitch we like: a kind of firework and fluffy Finnish Lapphund. We have singed odes to her with Nalle one by one.

We cannot move Nalle to inside the house or the yard unleashed anymore because he is on the way to the yard on the other side of street. One evening he suggeed to run away and almost become hitted by car. We had lucky that we survived only with fright. Let's see how long the boys shout and howls to that bitch. They are sometimes a little annoying specially Nalle who shouts as loudly as possible. I hope that neighbors doesn't call the police or make an report of animal abusing because of our dogs noises!

Autumn

Our female master has changed our web-address and created this blog because our previous web-server didn't worked correctly. Our previous stories you will find here.

It autumn seasong and the weather has become colder. Our male master carried the first elk's bones. They were very tasty. Our female master has been strangely lazy even she has been only home two weeks now. Fortunately our other master has jogged us by his bike.

One weekend we visited in Viitasaari here in Finland. That might be the first place after our birth kennel where was fenced yard where we were allowed to be free. We were fasten only when eating our food. There were lot of interesting smells specially many bitches. We didn't fight about those with Otso because there was only smells. Those bitches weren't there then. Our masters carried our travel dog houses inside the fence. I dont't like the new ones our female master has done. The old one liked I more. Otso used those dog houses alternately. >:o)
